Crowded teeth are rarely a case of too many teeth. They are usually a case of a jaw that never developed to its full width. The conventional answer has been to extract four premolars to make room, which straightens the teeth but narrows the arch, flattens the smile and can retract the lips and change the profile of the face.

How the treatment works
- 01 Records appointment
Photographs, an OPG and lateral cephalogram, and digital scans. Cephalometric analysis determines the skeletal pattern. This is what separates a real orthodontic plan from a guess.
- 02 Treatment plan and simulation
You see the projected end position before you commit, along with an honest answer on whether extraction is needed and why.
- 03 Bonding
Brackets are bonded in one 60–90 minute appointment. No injections. Mild pressure for 3–4 days afterwards is normal.
- 04 Monthly adjustments
A 15–20 minute visit every 4–6 weeks to change wires and track progress. Self-ligating systems typically need fewer visits than conventional braces.
- 05 Debonding and retention
Braces come off, and retainers go on. Retainers are not optional because teeth relapse without them, and this is the single most common reason orthodontic results are lost.
