Our in-house CAD/CAM dental laboratory

Your dentist and the laboratory work in the same building at Chetna Dental Centre, bringing restoration design, manufacture and fitting closer together.

That can mean less waiting between laboratory stages, quicker communication about shade and shape, and same-day options for selected restorations.

What having the lab here changes for you

Fewer laboratory delays

Design and manufacturing can be coordinated on site, reducing the need to send work between the clinic and an external laboratory.

Closer shade and shape checks

The clinical and laboratory teams can discuss the appearance, fit and bite directly, helping coordinate any adjustments needed.

A schedule built around your case

Selected cases may allow same-day restoration work. Complex cases can be planned in stages, with the visits explained before you proceed.

Could treatment be completed in a few hours?

For selected restorations, an on-site CAD/CAM workflow can make same-day completion possible. Ask whether your restoration could be designed, manufactured, finished and fitted during a few-hour appointment. The dentist and laboratory team confirm the realistic schedule after assessment.

The tooth’s condition, the chosen material, finishing requirements and the checks needed for a comfortable fit all affect timing. Some work requires more than one visit. Same-day manufacture does not remove necessary healing time or other dental treatment.

Where the laboratory supports your care

From assessment to fitting

  1. Assess and plan. The dentist explains suitable options, any preliminary treatment, materials, fees and expected visits.
  2. Record and design. Appropriate scans or impressions and bite records guide the proposed restoration.
  3. Manufacture and finish. The laboratory prepares the restoration using the appropriate workflow and material.
  4. Check and fit. Your dentist checks the restoration clinically, makes any necessary adjustments and explains aftercare.

Travelling to Lucknow for treatment?

An on-site laboratory can help coordinate appointments for outstation and international patients. Discuss your proposed treatment and travel dates with the clinic first. Your visit schedule remains provisional until clinical assessment; complex care may need several stages or a return visit.

Confirm your treatment time and fee

Questions

Your questions about the dental lab

Can my crown be completed on the same day?

Selected restorations may be suitable for same-day completion. Your dentist confirms this after assessment, considering the tooth, material, preparation, finishing and laboratory availability. Ask whether a few-hour appointment is appropriate for your case before planning your visit.

Does having an in-house lab mean all treatment finishes in a few hours?

No. Laboratory turnaround is one part of care. Root canal treatment, gum care, implant healing, multiple try-ins or complex bite rehabilitation may require additional visits or healing time.

What does CAD/CAM mean?

Computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing. Digital records support the design of a restoration, which is then manufactured and finished before the dentist checks its fit, appearance and bite.

How much does lab-supported treatment cost?

The fee depends on the restoration, material, number of teeth and any care needed first. Contact the clinic for an assessment and a written estimate, including the planned visits and what is included.
